A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart. I am alone, and feel the charm of existence in this spot, which was created for the bliss of souls like mine. I am so happy, my dear friend, so absorbed in the exquisite sense of mere tranquil existence, that I neglect my talents. I should be incapable of drawing a single stroke at the present moment; and yet I feel that I never was a greater artist than now. When, while the lovely valley teems with vapour around me, and the meridian sun strikes the upper surface of the impenetrable foliage of my trees, and but a few stray gleams steal into the inner sanctuary, I throw myself down among the tall grass by the trickling stream; and, as I lie close to the earth, a thousand unknown plants are noticed by me: when I hear the buzz of the little world among the stalks, and grow familiar with the countless indescribable forms of the insects and flies, then I feel the presence of the Almighty, who formed us in his own image, and the breath of that universal love which bears and sustains us, as it floats around us in an eternity of blist.

The best time to travel to India largely depends on the region you plan to visit and the type of climate you prefer. However, generally, the period between October and March is considered to be the best time to visit India, as the weather is pleasant in most parts of the country.

If you are planning to visit the northern and northwestern parts of India, including Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, etc., the best time to visit is from October to March, as the weather is cool and comfortable.

If you are planning to visit the southern parts of India, including Goa, Bangalore, Chennai, etc., the best time to visit is from November to February, as the weather is mild and pleasant.

If you are planning to visit the eastern parts of India, including Kolkata, Darjeeling, etc., the best time to visit is from October to March, as the weather is cool and pleasant.

Keep in mind, some popular tourist destinations, such as the beaches of Goa, may be crowded during the peak tourist season.

Someone once remarked that in India, there is a festival on every day of the year. There are innumerable national, regional, local, religious, seasonal and social festivities that give credence to this statement. This is not surprising considering the innumerable gods, goddesses, saints, gurus and prophets who are worshipped in India.

Festivals of India are characterized by color, gaiety, enthusiasm, feasts and a variety of prayers and rituals. Foreign travelers are struck by the scale and multiplicity of the festivals that have evolved in the Indian society.
